Giovanna + Daniel.. two people that I instantly connected with… so much so.. that over the course of planning their wedding with them I legit asked Giovanna if she wanted to be my friend! Like beyond that of her wedding photographer.. like, we should hang out and do other things kinda friend. She happily accepted and I’m so thankful these two have entered our lives. I love them to bits.

Here’s a little about them.. they had their first date by Canada place.. had ice cream and walked to cactus club for dinner. One week later they were boyfriend and girlfriend. ❤︎

We decided to do their engagement session in Stanley Park, 1. because they had their first date by Canada Place and you can see this iconic building just across the bay. 2. these two used to live in downtown Vancouver and would walk the seawall nearly every week. they’d adventure through Stanley Park hand in hand falling more and more in love with each other every minute. so naturally, we had to capture this incredibly meaningful location for them. That evening mother nature gave us the most amazing sunset and even held the rain off for us until the moment we were all done. & I mean the exact moment! I put my camera away.. and the rain came!
