Adam + Ashley // Romance session @ Macao Beach
The Wedding Day
Getting ready with the guys @ Paradisus Palma Real was relaxed but with a sense of urgency, just a bunch of friends and family joking like guys do… but getting ready for something big to come. The beer flowed, the jokes rolled, bow ties adjusted and gifts front Adams’ brothers and a special one from his soon to be wife. We stopped at the lobby bar for some crazy cayenne pepper watermelon drinks and some more laughter as the hour approached. The girls gettin ready @ Jellyfish were, as always subdued in comparison however Mel experienced one of the most hilarious sequences yet of Ashley getting into her wedding dress. It was a lengthy process.. but Ashley was finally ‘birthed’ come the end of it. ;) Next, a heartwarming first look between dad and daughter. This little moment was made even more ridiculously sweet well, because Ashley’s dad is just awesome. Who couldn’t love that face!?? Then the real first taste of emotion as Ashley walked to the beach to see her husband to be for the first time. Adam couldn’t contain the emotion of seeing Ashley, gorgeous as she was, in the gown she would wed him in. The spell was then broken by a very quick blast of rain that came out of nowhere. A+A celebrated with a beautiful romantic travel themed wedding. Adam being an honored pilot, it brought a very personal element to it all. On each table – a gold picture frame containing a city in which they’d travelled together & under each place, a sweet little quote to commemorate the love they hold for one another. The ceremony itself was very emotional. Not too many dry eyes on this day, but just like before when the emotions were almost too much for everyone to handle, right through the front aisle of the ceremony a super friendly dog saunters through clearly with a ‘dop dee dop dee doo’ in his head like nothing’s happening. Everyone grabbed a hold of this moment to clear the frogs from their throats, dab an eye and laugh fairly histerically! Including ourselves. The reception was filled with fun speeches, sentimental moments… a grand entrance through a tunnel of sparklers and to top it all off, the always awesome fire show. If anyone wasn’t ready to party after all that, well they weren’t part of this group. Once again we started the day as the ‘nice photographers’ and left our new friends to choruses of ‘stay and dance, have some drinks with us’ & that’s just how we like it!! All the best to you both Adam + Ashley. Always, your friends. XOXO ~ r+m
Seriously love this dad… so happy as he waits to see his little girl for the first time on her wedding day.
A little rain on the wedding day is good luck!
