Rob and I aren’t the kind of people that need a big house in the burbs or a fancy car to be happy. In fact we think happiness is the exact opposite of that! (Well thats not entirely true… who wouldn’t like a beautiful home and a dee-lish car??!) What I’m trying to say is that the things we value most in life, is life in itself.

We love to travel more than anything else in the world and we always feel so incredible when we’re away… We breathe a little easier, food tastes better, the sun shines a little brighter & I think we might even glow a little bit!!

It always happens, the day before we fly home we get super sad… back to reality we say. But what if our reality was living abroad? Why not? People do it all the time & hey, we’re people!

Soooo, we’ve decided… we’re moving back to the Dominican Republic for part of the year. We’ll be spending our Summers at home in one of the most beautiful cities in Canada – Vancouver & our winters in the glorious, always gorgeous – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Makes me beam with happiness just thinking about it! We’ve actually lived there before. Right after Rob and I got married back in 2005 we spent our first 2 years as husband and wife in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Having lived the dream before, we know what we’re in for and we couldn’t be more excited about doing it all again.

Being in love with Vancouver in the summer time, we’re not going to miss our breathtaking home at it’s best. + We’d miss our family & friends way too much if we weren’t here for part of the year. & Of course… for our Vancouver couples. We’ll be shooting Vancouver engagements & weddings throughout the spring & summers and making our way back to the Caribbean for fall & winter destination weddings. – We’ll fly back & forth periodically throughout the year as well for bookings… so if you’re having a wedding in Vancouver in the fall or winter, or a destination wedding in the spring or summer – we can do that too!
