Just a few weeks ago I flew back to Vancouver from Punta Cana to document a most special day for Emily + Dylan. A few days prior we got together for a sweet little engagement session in which I quickly realized that the once thought soft spoken and quiet Dlyan was actually quite a ham. Today though that subdued version was present again. Quiet and thoughtful as he was about to marry his beautiful bride Emily, scotch in hand. Emily on the other hand, had a sweet nervous energy. More excited than anything to finally live the day and say ‘I do’.
Looking absolutely radiant in her vintage gown we decided Dylan needed to soak it all in head to toe for when he first sees her. So we switched it up and had Dylan walk to Emily for their first look. It was perfection and even despite Vancouver being the rainy city is it we spent our photo time outdoors on Hycrofts impeccably beautiful grounds. The only thing more stunning than Hycroft Manor’s outdoor space was the ceremony site. Gorgeous chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows = amazing, classic, elegant… the list goes on with just how beautiful it all was. Justine and I (my second photographer for the day… whom I loved working with!) were beyond thrilled to capture it all for such a stunning couple who deserves the world and more. Much love to you Emily + Dylan. XOXO – m
