It was our last wedding of the season here in Vancouver and excited to see these knock-outs on their big day was an understatement. Everything about it made us giddy & Rob went to shoot the boys having a shave and a scotch at JD’s Barber Shop……… just…..awesome. For me, shooting at the beautiful Hotel Georgia is always such a pleasure but the real excitement was finally shooting at one of Vancouver’s most breathtaking venues, the Terminal City Club. The day was filled with beautiful wintery details by Celsia Florist for Erika + Adam’s gorgeous October wedding, but my love of this day comes most from just how incredibly unique this amazing couple is. We chose to shoot at their favourite places instead of just a ‘pretty place’. Heading first to the awesome Pourhouse Restaurant in Gastown. Erika + Adam frequent it so the owner gladly accepted to have us in for a private photo sesh’ and I am so so so so thankful for that! That green couch is ridonck! Next was Crab Park for a few shots on the pier and to catch a glimpse of the Vancouver skyline and last but certainly not least, we ended our journey at the Revolver cafe for a latte. This was not only E+A’s favourite coffee shop, but a necessity as coffee was dearly needed!! Back at the Terminal City Club, a gorgeous reception followed by an awesome dance party by the fun and ever awesome DJ Pri of Girls on Wax. Enjoy the recap guys. You are incredible! XOXO – R+M
